Roxanne Bowman is a County Saddlery Agent who has been through the extensive training course provided by the Master Saddlers Association. She is the exclusive representative for the state of Maryland. This extensive training provides Roxanne with the ability to properly balance a rider's seat, compensate for a horse's asymmetry and improve overall equine movement and performance through proper saddle fit.
County Saddlery, Inc. is based in Woodbine, Maryland with saddle craftsmanship taking place in their factory in England. Resisting the trend toward cheaper production methods using foam rubber panels and plastic trees, County Saddles continue to be handmade on laminate beechwood trees, covered in the world's finest leather, and pure wool to maximize your horse's comfort and fit.
Our traditional methods take longer and require a higher degree of craftsmanship, but once you sit in a County, we know you will agree that the results are clearly worth it. Although we custom make saddles for many of the world's leading riders, our commitment to quality and detail is reflected in every saddle we make, including the one we will make for you.If interested in trying a County saddle I have an extensive set of demo saddles that you can ride in at your location.
Roxanne has been involved with horses since 1995. Her experience with horses ranges from licensed Thoroughbred exercise rider to sophisticated show rider. Her methods are patient, traditional and productive.
